About Our Agency
Over the past 25 years I have served in leadership roles with companies like Travelers, Safeco, The Hartford, Kemper and Atlantic Mutual. I left corporate life to start my own agency that specializes in Florida personal and commercial property. Our objective is not to be one of the large generalist agencies, but rather a small consultative group of specialists. This way we can devote more time to working with our clients.
Take a look at our Google reviews, they tell the real story of what you can expect when you select me as your property insurance agent. Tony Prete, Owner & Managing Agent |

FedNat Insurance was recently downgraded from Financial Stability Rating A to S by Demotech. An S rating is not accepted by most mortgage companies including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) has given FedNat until Friday April 29th, 2022 to submit a plan that will regain their A Financial Stability Rating and assure FedNat can secure adequate reinsurance before their July 1, 2022 renewal. FedNat filed an 8-K with the securities and exchange commission in response to the (OIR) request stating...there is substantial doubt regarding our ability to continue as a going concern under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. FedNat Insurance expects the financial stability rating downgrade to impact their ability to procure excess-of-loss reinsurance by July 1, 2022. If that were to occur then FedNat could result in FedNat Insurance being placed in receivership.
