The King Tide is the highest predicted high tide of the year at a coastal location. These are produced by the orbits and alignments of the Earth, Moon and Sun. This year, King Tides are expected from November through December.
King Tides can cause local flooding in coastal areas. Should water enter your home, even if it is just a half inch, would your home insurance cover the damage?
